This year, we're being encouraged to stick to a more structured workflow, with a particular emphasis on Agile methods. Part of this involves using Trello to structure our process: it's an incredibly helpful website that I hadn't heard of until late last year, that allows you to create personalised lists of subjects and move objects across from one to the other.
To start off my process, I made a Trello board with every individual 'task' I believe this project is going to entail. I think this list may well be subject to change in the future, as different issues arise and different challenges approach, however I'm fairly confident that what I have is coherent and accurate. The aim is to just tackle them one at a time in a reasonable order: again, I have structured them in such a way that I believe will work best for now, but this may change in future. The nice thing about Trello is re-ordering stuff like this is extremely easy to do!
I'm not able to show all of the tasks, as you can see by the scroll wheel, but I'm rather happy about that: it means I've broken the tasks down effectively, rather than leaving large vague tasks that could take any amount of time to complete. I could improve this board by breaking down tasks like the 'Build small assets' into the individual pieces I'll be building, but to do that I need to know what pieces I'll actually be building: hence, the first task is to make a list of them. I'll check back in once that is done!
